Friday Letter 1 April

It is Friday again and it is not just a Friday it is April Fools day today.

 from Retro Slashers.

So you all must beware of getting fooled =).

I was hoping for some sunshine today but I was wrong =(, and I just realized I am about to leave the office for the weekend in 2minutes. Why you may ask? But I will not answer as it is not of your business =).

 from London Cake.

Tonight I will go on a birthday party, don’t know where yet out it will be at a pub or a restaurant, as always here in London… in Sweden we celebrate birthdays at home. No offence to my friends here in London but I think it is much nicer to celebrate birthdays at home.

No plans at all for the rest of the weekend as we have a friend visitiing from Sweden (or Norway). She is Swedish but living in Norway. So it will be up to her how we will spend the weekend.

 from Greenwich MT.

And you all know Norway. Right? It is just next to Sweden. It is funny that the two best countries in the world is next to each other.

 from Red Bubble.

I know she want to go to the pub for a few pints. So we will probalby end up somewhere on Southbank tomorrow.

Or if the weather is nice tomorrow we might have a small BBQ in our lovely garden. Invite a few friends over for a couple of ribs and beers.

from Food Nettwork.                                              from Allposters..

Oooops! Times up!!! I must run!

  from Arthurs Clipart.

Enjoy the weekend with family, friends and some Sparkling in the sunshine.

Vill resa

Friday Letter 25 March

It is finally Friday again and I still trying to focus on work after my 45 minutes powerwalk to Borough Market and back the lunch break.

Sitting right now staring at the lovely weather outside the window. Thinking; What am I doing here?

Why can’t I be rich so I didn’t have to work at all.

Maybe some of you think it will be boring not working. it will probably be BUT if you can occupy yourself with

I know waht I would do… I would just travel around the world doing what I like the most;

 Foto: Anna-Karin Kroon©

Exploring beautiful new places. Visit every country in the world.

 from Blogspot.

Did you knew there are 194 countries in the world. So with my 24 I’ve visited so far I have some travelling to do. How many countries have you visited?

But after the Euro Millions draw tonight, money won’t be any problem anymore… at least in my dreams =).

So what are we up to this weekend?

Not sure to be honest, I think I will just be. Don’t plan anything at all, just take the day as it. If I want to have Sparkling and lobster for  breakfast I just open a bottle and take a lobster out from the fridge and sit on the street outside our flat eating, drinking and singing naughty songs. If I want to do it naked I just do it…

 from Jesper.

Don’t think about the concequences, if it is the correct way to behave or not. BUT as my parents taught me how to behave I will not do any of the things above, except maybe the Sparkling.

As I said no plans so far and I think it will be like this the whole weekend, so I must apologize for not giving you any great ideas what to do tomorrow and on Sunday.

If you know someone who doesn’t receive my Friday Letter just tell them to email me. They must include a good reason why they should be on the List.

 from Borja.

I will evaluate them one by one to see if they are worthy enough to be on my list

Friday Letter 18 March

The best time of the week is almost here…

By the time my Friday letter comes to your inbox you all know that the weekend it about to start. Wee all live for the weekend don’t we??

At least I LOVE my weekend, even if I don’t do anything exciting. You all know how nice it is to wake up on a Saturday morning with hearing the horrible sound of the alarm. Knowing you don’t have to leave the bed if you don’t want to.

 from Hilding.

It is such a lovely feeling.

Maybe eating the breakfast in bed…

 from Photaki.

For you information, I NEVER eat breakfast in bed. Why you may ask… the bed is not made for eating and there are a big risk getting breadcrumbs and other strange things in it.

Tonight nothing exciting at all will happen… Stay in, eat take out and watch a movie or two. I think it will be Thai food and the films will be the Black Swan and/or Love and other Drugs. Who doesn’t want to see Anne H’s bare skin or Natalie P in tights=).

Tomorrow morning, btw. last Saturday we had a lovely walk along Regent Canal all the way from Broadway Market to Camden.

Anyway. No plans for tomorrow yet but I believe, if the weateher gods are on our side, we’ll do an an excursion and explore a new part of London. Imbibe the surroundings, take loads of pictures and stop at a cosy pub for lunch. Not sure for the evening yet but I think we will be invited to friends for dinner. Who can say no to a FREE DINNER =).

Sunday

I will most likely start the morning with a run before breakfast. As I have problems with my knees at the moment

from Promaker.

I’m not sure about the distance. It will be between 4-10k. Don’t ask me about the miles as kilometers ARE the correct way of measuring distance.

Afte my running I hope my georgeous wife will be ready with a delicous breakfast in the garden (I hope it will be warm and sunnny enough).

That’s all for this week… don’t forget the Sparkling

BTW. As we are winning the 90 million Euro tonight my plans will probably change.

 from Travel News.

I have already filled up the fridge with SPARKLING so that’s what I will do for the whole weekend.

Hope to see you all in the office on Monday… the lottry win is not an excuse to NOT show up. We must all celebrate…

Halva veckan…

Mina spännande vardagar ser i princip likadana ut, varje dag…

Väckning 0640 till Septembers låt Cry for you.

Friday Letter 11 March

Friday 11th of March and it is such a lovely day today.

It seems like the spring is definitely here. In Sweden, my country, we (they) are still having loads of snow.

I just came back after a nice 45minutes walk in the nighbourhood (read Borough Market). I went there to by a few bottles of wine. I need it for the weekend =).

It is not many minutes until it’s four… I need the weekend. My body screams WEEKEND!!!

Today I am actually thinking of joining some of you to the pub. Yes you red it right. It’s been such a long time since I joined you… I won’t be staying long though as I have already plans for later.

So what’s so important? Have not decided yet. I am chosing between dinner with the Mrs and some friends or go salsa dancing at a place called Floridita with some other friends.

If we go for the dancing I will most likely, as I am a shy Swedish guy, have loads of Sparkling and probably a couple of vodka before I put on my dancing shoes and go on the dance floor.

There will be an early start tomorrow, not sure if we’ll go to Borough Market or Broadway Market. We planned to do it last weekend but as I was stucked infront of the computer watching crosscountry skiing we postponed our market saturday till this week. If we go for Hackney and a walk along the chanal to Angel we’ll definitely make a stop at a cosy cafe/bar half way to Angel.

That’s the plans for Saturday as the evening is fully bocked =). We will stay home watching who will represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in May and at 2100 we will watch the Killing on BBC4.

The first 14 (total of 20) episodes are still accessible on BBC iPlayer.

On Sunday we will go back to east London. We need flowers to decorate the flat and Columbia Flower Market is a good place if you want to shop flowers.

I think the best place must be New Covent Garden between Vauxhall and Battersea (MAP). But you must be early as it opens at 0400 and closes at 1000.

I will spend the rest of my Sunday will be spent home cleaning the flat… I know it sounds boring and it is boring but it must be done.

That’s all for this week, see you Monday.
