Nä, tror snarare bara att det är en träningshype det här med att slänga in engelska/amerikanska träningsord i allt man gör. Som om man behöver bevisa att man gör något extremt bra och tufft. För allt låter så mycket hårdare på engelska… ta bara den klassiska övningen ”kålmasken” som heter ”super dive(r) pushup”. Vilken får jag mest kredd för om jag snackar med polarna, jo den sistnämnda? Kanske t.o.m lurar jag mig själv att tro att jag har gjort något megasvårt om jag skriver att jag gjort fem ”super diver pushups” fejjan, etc. etc.. Det måste ju finnas en anledning till att den har ett så tufft namn, eller?
Som du sade, kalla det vad du vill, det är viktigast att man faktiskt kommer ut och tränar.

engelska ord ger alltid en hårdare känsla
och det är ju coolare att skriva ”Ute på PW” på FB än
att skriva ”ute och promenerar” som någon hemsk form av pensionärsaktivitet.
Jag brukar ofta fundera över det när man är ute och promenerar och möter massa folk.
Speciellt här inne i hippa storstan så är det ju massa tjejer som ”går PW”, men
vilka är det som gör det? När jag kikar runt så ser jag inte speciellt mycket ”Power”
över någons gångstil=) om det nu inte är det där armflaxandet, så säkert bränner 7kcal extra
per timme=) eller är det att man går 6,6 km/h istället för 5,8 km/h?

Men tjejerna vill kanske inte svettas eller så förstår de inte begreppet eller tja, som du skriver, det måste vara armflaxandet. 7 kcal extra är väl okej, drog de upp tempot hade de fått 10 gånger så mycket.
